Back in Town
No rest for the weary! Fresh off my Canadian adventure, I was at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia today, addressing pulmonary nurses at a continuing education session, just as I did back in October. What can I say? I'm just a popular guy!After my talk, I had a chance to visit the hospital floor where the nurses to whom I spoke work. It was close to the one on which I stayed in the days immediately prior to my tracheotomy in 2002. As far as hospital floors go, it was nice, but I'm hoping I never have to stay there! When a group of doctors on rounds walked by me, I said to the leader of the group, "I'm not staying!"
No, after all of the excitement of my trip over the weekend, I'm not planning on staying anywhere other than home for a while...
