I don't know why they can't have them on all trains. I don't know if you have to make a sharp turn to get into your seat.

It's like when I went into Temple U bathrooms with you that were difficult to get into with those narrow halls and right-angle turns. I wouldn't have known what it was like to get through them with a wheelchair otherwise.

Do the people who design these things do it without consulting people in wheelchairs?

P.S. Next time you're in Doylestown, check out the crossing signal traffic lights they've installed. You have to manually push to cross one way, but not the other, on some four-ways. These lights don't always work. I can't wait for some blind person to be there by themselves and have no idea what is going on, or not be able to cross because the lights don't work, so they will sue. I especially like the one near the train station. That one has a big black metal box that juts into the sidewalk. It's at a perfect height to be in the way. You probably couldn't navigate it in a wheelchair. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen -- or does that fall under sovereign immunity?

JBJBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14302989286699342140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32039636.post-76822496681758103462007-07-14T19:04:00.000-04:002007-07-14T19:04:00.000-04:00Hello,I met you at the conference today and want t...Hello,

I met you at the conference today and want to thank you and your fellow presenters for letting us in to the normalcy of your hardly average lives.
